I’m Tracey. I’ve been visiting and living on the Sunshine Coast most of my life and I love it. I can’t think of a place I’d rather live.
When I was growing up my family spent many school holidays in Noosa. That was back in the days when the Bruce Highway still ran straight through Nambour so, without fail, we would always stop at the Big Pineapple for a sundae. We usually camped at Munna Point or stayed in a resort on Noosa Hill and in between swimming and sandcastles we did all the touristy things- the Big Shell, the House of Bottles, the Big Cow, the Ginger Factory and Super Bee to name a few. It was such fun!
When I grew up, I moved here. I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast for 15 years now. As a single gal, I had a ball living in beach-side units in Caloundra and Mudjimba. Now I’m living the hinterland life in Glass House Mountains with my partner, Viv. We live in a little green house in the middle of a macadamia farm with our dog, Echo, some chooks and ducks and, from time to time, a 15 year old boy. Not just a random 15 year old boy, I should add. He’s Viv’s son, Flynn. All in all, life’s pretty good.
I hope to build on the Sunshine Coast up into a really useful resource over time. It will be based on my own meanderings, of course, but I’m interested in a LOT of different things and hopefully you will find something useful in my pages.
Thanks for visiting me on the Sunshine Coast. I hope you enjoy your stay.
